Rioja is one of Spain's most famous wine regions and is one of only two regions classified under the Denominación de Origen Calificada (DOCa) system. Its two most important red grapes are Tempranillo and Garnacha.
Enjoy Marques de Murrieta 2015, a Spanish Rioja Red for this promotion; dark red cherry in colour, with a complex and powerful nose. Perfume of dark red fruit, floral notes, cigar box and truffle. It shows a beautiful bouquet, remarkable intensity of fruit and impeccable balance.
The Chef at Level Four is pairing this stunning aged Spanish red wine with 2 choice Angus Beef cuts from Kalahari Butchery. Fillet and Sirloin are served on the bone and lovingly seasoned and cooked in the high temperature, wood fired Josper oven. Drizzled with olive oil, topped with a roasted red pepper and chorizo butter, accompanied by a Spanish Olivada and your choice of 2 sides.
