The Sandton Times Hour expands

Sandton's weekly radio show and podcast, ‘The Sandton Times Hour’, which started during lockdown of 2020, has further expanded, this time, joining the SABC and occupying time on SAfm on Sunday evenings, 7pm to 8pm. What started during one of the most uncertain periods in modern history has become a signature media product dedicated to ‘Africa’s richest square mile’, northern Johannesburg and beyond, offering a curated blend of news, views, entertainment, luxury, lifestyle, travel, motoring, and food.

 

Behind the mic is seasoned media professional Alexander Leibner, whose two decades in the industry have shaped the show’s distinctive voice and production ambition. His role as host and producer remains central to the programme’s success, bringing together a rotating line-up of newsmakers, creatives, thought leaders, and personalities. As a respected media personality, keynote speaker, MC, and the founder and managing editor of The Sandton Times, Alexander's on-air presence combines professionalism with warmth, always with an eye on what makes Sandton and South Africa such compelling places to live, work, and explore.
